People wont find Death Run as a "fun" game, they'll most likely find it as a competitive way to try to get top 3, if they dont they get upset and start saying some hurtful words to other players. Also the toxicity in that game will most likely drastically increase instead of decreasing due to how raging it could cause others. It will strongly be unfair in a ton of ways.
Im not talking about closet cheaters, im talking about those who bypass the AntiCheat and bhop, fly or use any type of hack to speed themselves pass the traps to win easily. Mineplex is really a teamwork or competitive server and if you have it be 1v15 or 1v7 or something it would be completely unfair towards other players. It doesn't really fit with the Mineplex vibes to have a game to trap people and try to kill them from traps etc. However, releasing a Death Run game publicly would be nice but it does have it's ups/downs. The event team give all the items to players themselves which makes it very original and amazing that I strongly enjoy. It's actually a lot of fun just by not having really any coding, its mainly just redstone and structures. Which they actually do have a Death Run which is manually ran by the Event Team on the Event server on a certain season. Personally I have seen NUMERAL threads about this over the years about Mineplex releasing a type of Death Run.
